Los Angeles (53-24) at Portland (38-39); 10:00 pm EDT Tue Apr 8, 2008
The Lakers should win this one. They have enough rest. They have Pau Gasol. Przybilla’s hand is broken and is out for the season. Kobe opined that they always get beat playing in Portland because the game usually is the 2nd of back to backs. Now, they have no excuses.
Yeah, they should win this one. I am only concerned about Pau’s health. Will he aggravate the injury on his ankle? Will he injure another part of is body? Lord, please, no.
Bynum is starting to practice basketball, going one-one-one with Rambis, etc. Lord, please don’t aggravate his injury. Heavenly Father, please heal Ariza fast enough for him to be available in the playoffs (or maybe even before that).
Alright, I’ve done the praying. Now, it’s up to you, L.A. Beat ‘em up!
