Bill Simmons and the 2011 NBA Playoffs

Bill Simmons is at it again, performing his annual reverse-jinx of his beloved Boston Celtics.  Not only does he reverse-jinx the Celtics, he also tries to jinx the Los Angeles Lakers‘ NBA 2011 Finals bid.

He has done it over and over and will not stop, I think.

Well, I won’t stop either, so here’s the antidote: a reverse reverse-jinx.

The playoff games will crawl to a slow to the advantage of the old dogs like the Boston Celtics.  However, the uber team Miami Heat will crush the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Miami Heat will then win over the San Antonio Spurs to take the NBA 2011 Championship Trophy.
