NBA 2009 Playoffs: Lakers vs Nuggets

As of this writing, game one has already been decided but game one’s outcome has not changed my prediction. Without further ado, here’s my pick – Nuggets in 6.
Why? You only have to look at the Houston series to gauge where the Lakers are now. It seems the Lakers aren’t even peaking. On paper, they are the best. They just don’t have the heart and the legs to be the best day in, day out.
Everybody’s saying they’re bored. I don’t think they’re bored. They’re just tired, nervous, broken, old and young. I have observed. Pau is tired. Kobe is tired. Drew is nervous. Lamar is broken. Fish is old. The rest of the team is young.
I don’t care how good Kobe is. Even if Kobe summons his superhero alter ego, his sidekicks can’t cope up with the pressure. Not Pau. Not Lamar. Not Drew. And the Celtics, of last season, have proven that you can beat this Laker team by making Kobe pass.
So, yeah, Nuggets in 6.

I don’t really agree totally. I think that kobe has to keep passing to his teammates but they are going to have to hit shots. I think that there is a kind of hora that kobe is missing. Something he has to give to his team mates. To give the the confidence to hit shot. The Lakers don’t have as many shooter as the Magic, but they can hit shots. They will just have to capitalize on every mistake made by denver. We will just have to see.

It was close. If not for the botched inbounds pass on games 1 and 3, Nuggets would’ve won in 6 games.
